Working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (all year round) over our busy lunch time this role is ideal for those looking for school hours.

You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive and enriching environment that fosters children’s development and well-being, particularly over the busy lunchtime period.

As part of this role, you will be an integral part of our children’s daily routines and you will support the staff team with lunch times, sleep times and supporting learning activities. Many tasks will be completed on each working day, so great initiative and a “can do” attitude are vital for ensuring the smooth running of children’s daily routines and meaningful learning activities.

Each day you will work within a variety of policies and procedures, so experience working within these will be beneficial, with an ability to understand and implement these effectively after a robust induction being a crucial part of this role. As part of this will understand children’s allergies and the impact this can have when procedures are not followed.

You will be able to support our children to become independent learners through planning and supporting the team in delivering and observing meaningful activities. We work as a team throughout the nursery, so you will be able to support and adapt to the team with empathy and consideration, so every day may look different!
