Nursery Cook
Do you love cooking wholesome meals and want to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives? Juniors Day Nursery in Tunbridge Wells, part of Happy Days Nurseries Group is seeking a passionate Nursery Cook to join our warm and welcoming team.
We pride ourselves on serving fresh, nutritious meals that support healthy growth and development for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Your Role
As our Nursery Cook, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for:
- Planning and preparing daily meals and snacks using fresh, natural ingredients
- Catering for allergies and dietary needs with care and creativity
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
- Managing kitchen stock and supplies efficiently
- Creating a positive, calm mealtime experience for children and staff
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in catering, ideally in a nursery or educational setting
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
- A love for cooking and a genuine interest in children’s wellbeing
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Friendly, approachable, and a great team player
