Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

Happy Days Nursery in Poole is looking for a friendly and experienced level 3 practitioner to join their welcoming team.

What will you be doing:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters children’s development from birth-5. If you’re Level 3 qualified, your passion for childcare, creativity, and dedication will make you an essential part of our team.

A pivotal part of the role will be your ability to plan and implement exciting learning opportunities for a ground of key children, ensuing your children’s interests and developmental stages are catered to, whilst also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.

Beyond the care of our children, our families are at the centre of everything we do, therefore our nursery practitioners will communicate effectively with our families, creating professional relationships and keeping them consistently informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.

Who we’re looking for:

Our ideal Nursery Practitioner will be level 3 qualified with a full and relevant early years or childcare qualification and will have an evident passion for making a difference within the sector whilst having a strong understanding of the developmental stages and emotional wellbeing of young children.

A good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to implement this effectively with a group of key children will be vital within the role, along with an ability to plan meaningful and educational activities for our children.

Safeguarding our children is of the utmost importance at Happy Days, consequently you will show a strong commitment to well-being and safeguarding of all children in your care.

Experience with forming positive and professional relationships by communicating effectively with our children, parents and families will be essential and whilst experience within a nursery setting is highly advantageous, all qualified candidates will be considered for this role.
