Nursery Room Leader

Dolls House Nursery, Part of the Happy Days Nursery Group, are seeking a Room Leader to join their fantastic team.

As Room Leader, you’ll guide a dedicated team in one of our thoughtfully designed baby, toddler, or preschool rooms—each tailored to meet the developmental needs and interests of the children.

Your Role

As Room Leader, you’ll:

  • Lead your team in delivering high-quality care and education, rooted in our “Where Children Shine” curriculum and the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, stimulating space where children are free to move, explore, and learn—no bouncers, no forced seating, just authentic play
  • Support daily operations through strong organisation, planning, and prioritisation
  • Mentor and coach your team with empathy, using tools like peer observations and reflective meetings to foster growth
  • Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s journey

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Experience leading a nursery room and mentoring staff

  • A “can-do” attitude, creative thinking, and a genuine love for working with children and families
