Hi my name is Jodie and I have been working at Happy Days Bath for 3 years now. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare and have over 5 years of experience in management. I have a level 3 in childcare and also a level 3 in Forest school! I have recently came back to work from maternity leave after having my first child who will be starting with me back at Bath.
I love being outside and ensuring the children get to experience nature in all its wonders. I believe there is no bad weather just bad clothing.

Ellie Wickett
Hi! I’m Ellie, one of the Nursery Managers here at Bradley Stoke. I began my childcare career at Happy Days in 2016 as a Nursery Nurse and progressed through job roles over my time here. I have been Deputy Manager whilst Stacey has been on maternity leave, and have now taken on a new and exciting role as Nursery Manager. I have two young boys who I enjoy spending time with and on the weekends you’ll find me pitch side, watching my eldest play football.
I am really looking forward to managing Bradley Stoke and providing consistency for the team and families. I am passionate about providing a warm and safe environment and love watching children develop throughout their nursery years.

Nursery
Welcome to Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School in Charlton Heights — a bright, purpose-built setting in the heart of Charlton Hayes, Bristol. Situated directly opposite Charlton Wood Primary School and close to local amenities including the doctor’s surgery, Sainsbury’s Local, and the library, we offer families an ideal and accessible location with designated parent parking for smooth drop-offs and collections.
Our nursery provides calm, neutral environments and secure outdoor areas that support our all-day free-flow approach to learning. Carefully chosen resources inspire children to explore, experiment, and engage in meaningful play, both indoors and out.
At the heart of everything we do is our Where Children Shine Curriculum — a bespoke early years framework designed to promote curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. As part of our strong community links, children regularly visit the nearby library and local care home, supporting intergenerational connections and enriching their social development.
Led by a passionate and experienced team, Happy Days Charlton Heights is a nurturing environment where children are truly supported to shine every day.

Meet The Manager
Steph Jones
Hello! My name is Steph and I am the manager at Charlton Heights. I have worked with young children my entire career, starting off by running children’s birthday parties! I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2014, specialising in children aged 3-7 years old. I am passionate about the early years and how vital it is that we get it right, giving our little people the best possible start to life.
Our Unique Curriculum
Happy Days has developed an ambitious, broad and balanced Early Years Curriculum titled “Where Children Shine”. It provides opportunities for children to learn, explore and discover, whilst attending a Happy Days Nursery.

Upcoming Open Days

We look forward to opening our nursery doors to you on Saturday the 4th October between 10am and 1pm.
