Dec 11, 2024

Happy Days Nursery Yate, located within the new Ladden Garden Village development, Bristol, is celebrating having recently received a GOOD grading from Ofsted.

The Ofsted report highlights that ‘Leaders have designed a rich curriculum that inspires all children to learn. The curriculum is well sequenced and carefully designed to help children build on their knowledge and skills as they move from one room to the next.’

Furthermore, the report acknowledged that ‘The bespoke settling-in process helps children make strong attachments with staff when children start at the nursery.’

Zoe Seymour, Nursery Manager, stated, “We are delighted with our Ofsted result, after less than a year of being open it really does highlight the hard work, care and dedication from our amazing staff team. The bonds the team have built with the children, the emotional security they provide and the praise and encouragement they give were just a few of the things picked up during the inspection and I feel this whole report is a testament to the team. We are very proud of this achievement and excited for what is still to come.”

Early Years Operations Manager, Sam Richardson spoke on the fantastic news ‘I am delighted for Happy Days Yate, they have worked so hard to establish strong, meaningful bonds with the children in their care, it was wonderful that the inspector recognised this stating ‘staff work hard to establish close relationships with key children to foster a sense of trust and emotional security’. For the team to have received such positive feedback so shortly after opening shows how committed the team are to ensuring they meet every child’s needs.’

Happy Days Nursery in Droitwich Celebrates an outstanding review!

1 mins
Mar 21, 2024

Happy Days Nursery in Droitwich is proud to share an outstanding review, following their Open Day!

‘I arranged a visit on Friday 1st March as I was interested in enrolling my son when the new funding comes in.

I have visited many different nurseries through the job that I do, but I was completely blown away by Droitwich Happy Days. Firstly, every team member I came into contact with that day was so friendly and helpful. Lucia showed me round and she answered every question I had with confidence,  nothing was too much trouble. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed learning all about the programs you do involving cooking, growing produce and sports. I came back for your open day the next day and , again,  every team member was great. I brought my son along this time and all the team were brilliant with how they engaged with him and made us feel welcome. It was very clear to me that happy days is a nice place to work and this is important to me when choosing where to send my son.

The facilities and the activities they had set out were excellent, and I was made to feel like I was already a parent of a child who was enrolled there. It was great to hear from the manager all about the stay and play sessions that are upcoming and I think this is such a good idea, especially for children who are due to start later in the year, so that they can attend and get to know some of the people who will be taking care of them.

Of course, I enrolled my son to start in September and we are excited to start our happy days journey with you!’
