Reviews

Meet The Manager

Olivia

My name is Olivia and I am a dedicated Nursery Manager with nearly 20 years of experience in early years education, all of which I have gained at Farlington Day Nursery since the very beginning of my career.

Throughout my time here, I have remained committed to ensuring that every child is at the centre of everything we do.

I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. I really enjoy working closely with families to ensure a high-quality of care, strong safeguarding practices, and positive outcomes for all children.

Our Unique Curriculum

Happy Days has developed an ambitious, broad and balanced Early Years Curriculum titled “Where Children Shine”. It provides opportunities for children to learn, explore and discover, whilst attending a Happy Days Nursery.

Meet The Manager

Jade

Hello, my name is Jade and I am the manager here at Dolls House!  I have worked in childcare for around 12 years now, and I have worked at Happy Days since April 2025. Where I began my career with Happy Days as a Deputy Manager.

Throughout my career within the childcare sector I have loved creating a safe, happy, and inspiring environment where children can grow and thrive.

With a strong focus on child-led learning and independence, I support our team in delivering nurturing, high-quality care that celebrates each child’s unique strengths. I work closely with families to build trusting partnerships and ensure our nursery remains a safe, engaging space where curiosity is encouraged, confidence grows, and every child is empowered to reach their full potential

Sam, the manager, at Teddy Bears, Portsmouth

Meet The Manager

Sam

With over 30 years of experience in the childcare sector, I have worked across a wide range of settings, from independent nurseries to both small and large nursery chains, most of which have been based in Portsmouth.

Throughout my career, I’ve held various roles, including Senior Nursery Nurse and Childcare Development Worker for the local authority. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of early years development, but they also helped me discover where my true passion lies: in nursery settings. I returned to what I love most – supporting children and staff to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where every day brings something new.

I’m now excited to be part of the wonderful team at Teddy Bears, working together to create a secure and joyful space for our children as they begin and continue their learning journeys with us.
