About Saltford Day
Nursery

Happy Days Nursery in Saltford offers high-quality childcare across two dedicated settings, tailored to support every stage of your child’s early years journey.

Our Day Nursery is based on Bath Road and provides a nurturing environment for babies and toddlers, while our Pre-School, located within the grounds of Saltford Primary School, is designed to support older children as they prepare for school. At our pre-school setting, and within the school, we provide before and after school care for children, aged 8 years and under, that attend Saltford Primary School.

Each setting offers calm, engaging spaces that are carefully planned to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and support children’s development through meaningful play. Our experienced, caring Saltford nursery team creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Whether it’s a child’s first day or they’re getting ready for school, we provide the consistency, care, and tailored learning opportunities that help them thrive every day.

Nutrition

We use fresh ingredients daily to prepare nutritionally balanced breakfast, tea and snacks. For our hot lunch we utilise outside specialised caterers who are experts in food and nutrition, preparing and delivering delicious meals that provide children with the nutrients they need for a busy day of play and learning.

We encourage independence during mealtimes. Older children are supported in serving their own meals using appropriate serving utensils and pouring their drinks. Children are encouraged to wash up their plates after mealtimes. During this daily routine, staff who are sitting with the children help to support their development, encouraging the use of communication and language skills.
