About Weston-super-Mare
Nursery

Welcome to Happy Days Weston-super-Mare, a warm and welcoming nursery and pre-school nestled in the heart of Winterstoke Village. Our dedicated team builds strong, lasting relationships with families and is proud to be an active part of the local community. Just minutes from the M5 (Junction 21) with convenient parent parking, we make drop-offs and collections as smooth as possible.

Inside our calm, light-filled setting, children enjoy the freedom of free-flow access to outdoor spaces throughout the day, encouraging exploration and active play. Our thoughtfully designed, low-level environments promote independence and are equipped with high-quality, developmentally appropriate resources that support every stage of your child’s learning journey.

In early 2022, we expanded with a purpose-built pre-school building that helps older children build confidence and school-readiness in a fun, supportive setting. Don’t just take our word for it—watch our pre-schoolers guide you through the nursery on our virtual tour!

Meet the manager

Leanne Hancock

Nursery Manager · Happy Days Weston-super-Mare

I am Leanne and I am super excited to be embarking on the journey with the nursery and yourselves and families/carers and all the children, here is a little bit of background about me.

I have 26 years experience within the childcare sector, from running my own business to being a childcare NVQ  assessor for Weston College . Working with children has always been a massive passion of mine and want to ensure my enthusiasm and knowledge is passed on to the teams I work with, to ensure high quality care and education for all children and their families /carers.

I myself have 4 children and two grandchildren  which I love to spend time with. I really look forward to meeting you all and helping your children through their happy days journey
