Food from Around the World | Free Activities Week at Happy Days Poole

We’re excited to welcome families to Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School, Poole for a week of free activities celebrating Food from Around the World!

This themed week is designed to:
⭐ Inspire children’s curiosity and creativity
⭐ Celebrate culture and diversity
⭐ Explore the wonderful world of food through fun, hands-on experiences

Each day brings a new activity for families to enjoy together,  from taste testing and sensory play to yoga, gardening, and role play. It’s the perfect opportunity to make memories and discover more about life at Happy Days.

What’s happening each day…

Marvelous Mealtimes Monday – 6 Oct, 10–11am
Get creative making fruit kebabs and explore lemon & lime water trays.
Tapas Tuesday – 7 Oct, 10–11am
Dive into herbs and spices sensory play and explore role play market foods.
Wellness Wednesday – 8 Oct, 10–11am
Relax and stretch with a yoga session and discover a herbal tea tuff tray.
Transportation Thursday – 9 Oct, 10–11am
Get green-fingered with seed planting and explore a tuff tray with soil and vegetables.
Fabulous Food Fest Friday – 10 Oct, 10–11am
Celebrate the week with a fun-filled food festival tasting day!

📍 All activities are free to attend, but spaces are limited.

But it’s not just about the activities, it’s also a chance for families to:
👩‍🏫 Meet our team and get to know the passionate practitioners who make our nursery so special.
🏫 Tour the nursery in action, seeing how our environments support learning, play, and development every day.
💬 Ask any questions about funding, from government entitlements to our all-inclusive SHINE at Happy Days package.

Alongside the fun, families who attend will also have the opportunity to enrol without paying the enrolment fee, a fantastic way to join our community while saving on nursery costs.
