Food from Around the World | Free Activities Week at Happy Days Weston-super-Mare

We’re excited to invite you to Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School, Weston-super-Mare for a week of free family activities exploring Food from Around the World!

This fun-filled week is designed to:
– Inspire children’s curiosity
– Celebrate cultures and traditions
– Encourage healthy, hands-on learning experiences

Each day brings a new theme, from taste-testing and creative play to yoga and gardening. Families are welcome to join in, spend time together, and discover more about life at our nursery.

What’s happening each day…
Marvellous Mealtimes Monday – 6 Oct, 1–2pm
Taste-test a variety of exciting foods and explore new flavours together.
Tapas Tuesday – 7 Oct, 9–10am
Discover foods from around the globe with a country-themed tuff tray.
Wellness Wednesday – 8 Oct, 10–11am
Stretch, relax, and move with a fun children’s yoga session.
Transportation Thursday – 9 Oct, 6–7pm
Get green-fingered with planting activities to learn where food comes from.
Fabulous Food Fest Friday – 10 Oct, 2–3pm
Celebrate the week with a delicious world food festival!

📍 All activities are free to attend, but spaces are limited.

But it’s not just about the activities, it’s also a chance for families to:
👩‍🏫 Meet our team and get to know the passionate practitioners who make our nursery so special.
🏫 Tour the nursery in action, seeing how our environments support learning, play, and development every day.
💬 Ask any questions about funding, from government entitlements to our all-inclusive SHINE at Happy Days package.

Alongside the fun, families who attend will also have the opportunity to enrol without paying the enrolment fee, a fantastic way to join our community while saving on nursery costs.
