Food from Around the World – Free Activities Week at Happy Days Yeovil

Join us at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School, Yeovil for a week of fun, free, family activities celebrating Food from Around the World!

This special week is packed with exciting, hands-on experiences designed to:
– Spark children’s curiosity
– Celebrate cultural diversity
– Explore the wonderful world of food together

Each day will have its own theme, with activities ranging from taste-testing and cooking fun to health and wellbeing. Families can enjoy time together, meet our friendly team, and discover more about life at Happy Days.

What’s on each day…
🍎 Marvellous Mealtimes Monday – 6 Oct, 10am–11am
Create colourful fruit & veg kebabs and explore healthy eating.
🍊 Tapas Tuesday – 7 Oct, 10am–11am
Take a flavour journey with fruit tasting from around the world.
😁 Wellness Wednesday – 8 Oct, 10am–11am
Learn about oral health with fun teeth-brushing activities.
🚜 Transportation Thursday – 9 Oct, 10am–11am
Get growing with seed planting and garden harvesting.
🥕 Fabulous Food Fest Friday – 10 Oct, 10am–11am
Celebrate with our very own food tasting festival!

📍 All activities are completely free but spaces are limited!

But it’s not just about the activities, it’s also a chance for families to:
👩‍🏫 Meet our team and get to know the passionate practitioners who make our nursery so special.
🏫 Tour the nursery in action, seeing how our environments support learning, play, and development every day.
💬 Ask any questions about funding, from government entitlements to our all-inclusive SHINE at Happy Days package.

Alongside the fun, families who attend will also have the opportunity to enrol without paying the enrolment fee, a fantastic way to join our community while saving on nursery costs.
