Nursery Practitioner
At Juniors Day Nursery in Boughton Monchelsea, we believe every child deserves a place where they can truly shine. Set in a beautifully converted oast house surrounded by nature, our nursery is a haven for curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning.
We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (level 2 or 3 qualified) to join our passionate team and help us deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Your Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll:
- Support children’s development through tailored planning and play-based learning
- Deliver engaging activities that reflect each child’s interests and developmental stage
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families and keep them involved in their child’s journey
- Collaborate with your room team to create a safe, organised, and joyful environment
- Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards with confidence and care
Whether you’re in our cosy baby room, lively toddler spaces, or our adventurous preschool building with free-flow garden access, you’ll be part of a setting where children are encouraged to be themselves.

We’re looking for:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- A commitment to safeguarding and emotional wellbeing
- Creativity, initiative, and a genuine love for working with children
- Previous nursery experience is a bonus—but passion and potential matter most
