Happy Days Nurseries and Pre-Schools are delighted to be supporting Children’s Hospice South West in 2025, raising money with fundraising events throughout the year.
Children’s Hospice South West are dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives through the provision of the best possible hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. The care offered at each of their three hospices is not just about medical and nursing support for sick children but enriching lives of the children and their whole family.
They offer a home from home where families can take a short break away to re-charge their batteries in a homely, warm and welcoming environment. Providing a much-needed break from the ongoing strains of caring for their children at home, juggling professional and medical appointments as well as maintaining family life and employment. In the main, they provide the chance for families to get away from it all, but CHSW also offer emergency and palliative care in a peaceful and comfortable setting.
This year, Happy Days pledge to host events throughout the whole year, sponsor the Rainbow Run 2025 and even have colleagues skydiving out of planes and running half marathons.
Fiona Blackwell, Operations Director stated, “It is a pleasure to be contributing towards this special charity once again, helping to support local children and their families. As a company we believe every child should have the best start in life, which is why we donate via sponsorship as well as holding events throughout the year. We are truly grateful for our colleagues and families for their contributions to our fundraising efforts.”
Alice Merrett, Area Fundraiser for CHSW, said: “We’re so grateful for the continuous support received by Happy Days Nurseries. Not only have they made CHSW their charity of the year, again, they’re bringing their infectious energy and charisma to our Rainbow Run again this June. Thank you so much Happy Days, support from local businesses really means a lot to us.”
