At Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools, we are proud to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) in the incredible work they do for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Each year, we take part in their Rainbow Run, but this September, one of our own is taking fundraising to new heights—15,000 feet to be exact!

Alice, our Digital Marketing Executive, will be skydiving to raise money for CHSW, a charity that has become very close to her heart. After visiting Little Harbour as part of her role at Happy Days, she was deeply moved by the love, care, and support the hospice provides. Now, she’s ready to take a literal leap of faith to help ensure CHSW can continue delivering their vital services.

Skydiving from 15,000 feet and freefalling at 120mph is no small challenge, but Alice is determined to make every second count for this amazing cause. With a fundraising target of £500, she’s calling on friends, family, and the Happy Days community to support her in reaching this goal. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference:

£20 will help to provide 1 hour of vital care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

£450 could fund three days of Music Therapy, helping children express their thoughts and emotions.

£900 could fund a children’s nurse for a full week.

£1,500 could provide 24 hours of round-the-clock care for a child nearing the end of life.

Happy Days has supported CHSW for years, sponsoring the paint station at the Rainbow Run for seven years running. Last year, Alice took part in the event herself, witnessing first hand the impact of the hospice’s work and the generosity of those who support it. Now, she’s taking things a step further—or rather, a jump higher!

Please join us in supporting Alice and wishing her the best of luck as she takes to the skies for this incredible cause!
