Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome Mandy from Truro Foodbank to Happy Days Playbox & Truro City. 🙂
During her visit, Mandy spent time with the children talking about healthy foods and why looking after our bodies is so important. She also shared family dental kits and kindly collected the generous food donations from our nursery families. 🍎🪥
Supporting children to develop healthy habits is an important part of the Happy Days curriculum through our Healthy, Independent Explorer aspect. Experiences like this help children begin to understand healthy eating, oral health and how to take care of themselves.
