St David’s Day Stay & Play at The Hollies!
St David’s Day is a special time to celebrate Welsh culture, community and heritage.
Join us at The Hollies for a relaxed and welcoming Stay & Play session where you and your child can explore, create and celebrate together .

We’ll be marking the occasion through play, with creative activities, music and stories, and opportunities to learn about Welsh traditions in an age-appropriate, meaningful way.
At The Hollies, play always has a purpose. Celebrating cultural events helps children develop a sense of belonging, confidence and understanding of the world around them, building strong foundations from the very start.
We’ll also be sharing simple Welsh-themed activity ideas you can try at home. Because learning doesn’t stop at the nursery door.

Chinese Themed Stay and Play at The Hollies Day Nursery, Cardiff
We’re delighted to invite families to join us for a Chinese themed Stay and Play session at The Hollies Day Nursery. Perfect for children under 4, this fun and interactive session will include a range of activities inspired by Chinese culture, giving children the opportunity to explore, create and play in a warm and welcoming environment.
Children will enjoy themed crafts, sensory play, stories, music and movement, while parents and carers relax, connect with others and share quality time with their children in our nurturing nursery setting.

The Hollies Snowflake Creations Competition | Cystadleuaeth Creu Eirlawnderau The Hollies
Children at Hollies Day Care Nursery will soon be getting creative as they design their own snowflake-themed artwork. We are delighted to be sharing these winter creations with our local community. As part of this festive project, we will be visiting Oak House Residential Home, where the residents will enjoy viewing the children’s artwork and selecting their favourite designs. This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring generations together, spread seasonal joy, and build meaningful community connections. ❄️✨
