Happy Days Nursery, Poole is delighted to announce the opening of its brand new baby room, a calm, nurturing, and beautifully designed space dedicated to the care and development of children under two. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the setting, enabling it to offer more places from September 2025, aligning perfectly with the introduction of the new government funding for working families with babies and toddlers.
This new room has been designed from the ground up with early brain development, wellbeing, and emotional security at its heart. It is a direct reflection of Happy Days’ commitment to creating safe, secure and inspiring spaces where children feel loved, settled and ready to learn.
A Thoughtfully Designed Environment for the Youngest Minds
From birth to age five, the brain forms up to 90% of its final structure. Recognising this critical window of growth, Happy Days has drawn on extensive research and decades of experience to shape a baby room that is purposefully warm, calm and sensory-aware.
Instead of overwhelming colours and noisy layouts, the new baby room is filled with soft, neutral tones and natural materials, designed to offer a serene environment that encourages focus, security and calm. This gentle aesthetic helps babies feel emotionally safe and free to explore, without the overstimulation often caused by busy, vibrant spaces.
Furniture and resources have been carefully curated from Early Years suppliers committed to safety, comfort, and sustainable manufacturing. Each item has been chosen to promote physical development, autonomy, and wellbeing, from low-level shelving that encourages independence to cosy, tactile nooks where babies can safely rest and observe.
