We opened our first nursery in 1991 and now operate 39 nurseries throughout the South and Wales!
With over thirty years of expert experience and an ethos to support children to become strong and motivated learners for life, we pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to work and live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard.

We have had a fantastic experience with Happy Days. All the staff are friendly, caring, and really seem to love what they do. Our child settles in quickly and looks forward to seeing the nursery leaders and her friends. She always has a great day and loves the food. It’s been really lovely seeing her form relationships. The best environment for children. The staff have all been a part of my son’s journey. He’s now an amazing little boy who is looking forward to big school. They have given him the confidence he needed and have been patient with him when he’s found things hard. Truly amazing.

Both my children have attended Happy Days in Summercourt and the wonderful staff have helped them grow emotionally and physically. The staff are warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, and consistent with the care they provide. The site is a great central location, with lots of parking. The children’s rooms have lots of toys and regular activities. The staff are flexible to the individual needs and interests of each child: quite simply the place is awesome!

My daughter loves nursery, she didn’t at the start but with the settling-in hours she was able to gain trust with the staff and now loves it! Thank you so much you have changed our little baby into a little girl!

We recently completed our settling in sessions and to say I was slightly anxious would be an understatement. The staff handled my Mum worries perfectly. I feel like our son is safe and thriving at nursery. We are so pleased with our choice to place him at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool.

This is a brilliant nursery where my child has thrived and developed so well. The team are amazing and we couldn’t ask for better. As a child who was initially reserved and likes routine, the nursery have helped him come out of his shell and have routines he can follow and has become used to. I have always found the staff friendly, approachable, kind and caring. Both of my children have attended the nursery one now starting school, but every time he revisits with me they always make an effort with him and include him still. Shows how lovely and thoughtful they are. The activities they put on are fantastic and my daughter really does love going to nursery. There is always something fun, interactive and new for her to do. The ladies, staff and management at Summercourt are fantastic and my daughter always has a great day. Thank you.

Top Tips for Healthy Smiles! 🦷🪥 Looking after children’s teeth from the very first tooth helps set them up for a lifetime of confident, healthy smiles. This simple brushing activity helps children explore why toothcare matters, practise the brushing motion and build positive routines through play, something practitioners can easily adapt, and parents can try at home too. Our toothcare top tips: 🪥 Brush twice a day from the first tooth, supporting children with brushing until at least age 7 💧 Spit, don’t rinse, leaving fluoride on the teeth helps protect them 🚫 Avoid sugary drinks like squash, fizzy pop, fruit juice and milkshakes, especially during weaning 🍬 Choose sugar-free medicines where possible 🍼 Introduce a free-flow cup from 6 months and aim to stop bottle use by age 1 💷 All under-18s are entitled to FREE NHS dental treatment in England 🤰 Dental care is also FREE during pregnancy and for one year after birth At nursery, activities like this support early health education, independence and confidence. 📋 Understanding Ofsted’s new report cards, what parents need to know! Ofsted has shared a helpful short video explaining their new report cards and grading system, designed to make inspection outcomes clearer and more meaningful for parents and carers. Rather than a single overall judgement, inspections will now focus on what really matters in children’s day-to-day experiences, with clear, colour-coded grades across key areas of early years education.
