Get Ready for Hollies Fest – A Colourful Celebration of Fun and Learning!
We’re excited to invite families in and around Cardiff to join us for Hollies Fest, our biggest and most vibrant summer Open Day yet, taking place on Saturday 21st June 2025, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at The Hollies Daycare Nursery.
This festival-themed event has been thoughtfully designed for children under 5, promising a morning of music, creativity, and joyful exploration. It’s the perfect chance for families to come together, meet our dedicated team, and discover what makes The Hollies such a special place for children to learn and grow.
🎉 What to Expect at Hollies Fest:
Baby Room:
- Decorate your own biscuits and get creative with neon colouring and edible paints.
- Enjoy a mini music festival experience just for babies—full of sounds and smiles!
1-2 Room:
- Let imaginations fly with flag painting, colour mixing ice trays, and a festival spot tray.
- Make fruit kebabs and explore sensory fun.
2-3 Room:
- Design and create necklaces, build dens and tents, craft dream catchers, and explore colourful playdough.
Preschool:
- Get festival-ready by making wristbands and bracelets.
- Dive into a watermelon rice spot tray with numbers, enjoy face painting, and create your own musical instruments.
🌟 Outdoor Garden Fun:
- Hook a duck, hoop a bottle, and test your aim at our “Stop and Throw” and “Knock ’Em Down” stations.
- Visit the guessing booth for a classic fairground challenge!
🌞 Special Highlights:
- An ice cream van may be popping by to treat everyone to a cool summer snack (fingers crossed!).
