We understand that the cost of childcare can represent a significant portion of your outgoings. We want to ensure all our families are receiving the support they are entitled to.
We aim to help you understand the variety of available government programmes that exist to support parents with childcare costs. However, everyone’s circumstances are different, and we therefore encourage you to visit the following websites for more information:

The guide below will provide you with an overview of the help available and how it could impact the fees payable at Happy Days Nursery.

The SHINE Funding Package at Happy Days
At Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools, we know that funded childcare can sometimes feel complicated. That’s why we created SHINE, a simple, transparent way to make the most of your funded hours while giving your child a rich, all-inclusive nursery experience.
The SHINE package brings together essential everyday care and inspiring enrichment activities into one clear offering, helping families plan their childcare costs with confidence.
What SHINE includes:
• Nutritious meals and snacks
• Nappies and wipes
• Sun cream
• A wide range of enrichment activities that support children’s learning, wellbeing and development
By combining these elements into one package, SHINE supports children to thrive while removing unexpected extras for parents.
*SHINE is not available at all Happy Days nurseries. Availability and inclusions may vary by location. Please refer to the SHINE leaflet for full details.
