Recently refurbished, Teddy Bears Nursery in Portsmouth offers modern, thoughtfully designed spaces that inspire curiosity, creativity, and independence. Located at 232 Southampton Road, North Harbour, Portsmouth, our secure indoor and outdoor environments encourage free-flow play and exploration.
We provide a well-structured setting with secure collection procedures and ongoing staff training to ensure your child’s safety and wellbeing. Our dedicated team nurtures strong bonds with families, creating an inclusive community where every child feels confident and valued.
With an ambitious early years curriculum at its core, Teddy Bears nursery supports children’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth through hands-on learning and meaningful daily experiences. Meet The Manager
Sam
With over 30 years of experience in the childcare sector, I have worked across a wide range of settings, from independent nurseries to both small and large nursery chains, most of which have been based in Portsmouth.
Throughout my career, I’ve held various roles, including Senior Nursery Nurse and Childcare Development Worker for the local authority. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of early years development, but they also helped me discover where my true passion lies: in nursery settings. I returned to what I love most – supporting children and staff to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where every day brings something new.
I’m now excited to be part of the wonderful team at Teddy Bears, working together to create a secure and joyful space for our children as they begin and continue their learning journeys with us.
